Code of Conduct for DeChess

1. Prohibition of Cheating

  • No software assistance: Players are prohibited from using any software that aids in calculating moves or providing suggestions, including chess analysis programs.

  • No copying moves: Players must not copy or follow moves from external sources during a game.

2. Prohibition of Disruptive Behavior

  • No harassment or abuse: Players must not harass, abuse, or threaten other players.

  • No offensive language: Use of abusive, discriminatory, or any other offensive language in the game or platform communication is prohibited.

3. Prohibition of Interfering with the Game Process

  • No system attacks: Players must not attempt to attack or disrupt the system, such as by sending viruses, malware, or conducting denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.

  • No game disruption: Players must not intentionally disrupt or prolong the game time unreasonably.

4. Prohibition of Illegal Business Practices

  • No illegal transactions: Trading, selling, or exchanging accounts, titles, or any game-related assets outside of the allowed methods on DeChess is prohibited.

  • No fraud: Any form of fraud or deception in trading or buying/selling game assets is not allowed.

5. Prohibition of Violating Platform Policies

  • No policy violations: Players must adhere to all DeChess rules and terms. Violations may result in account suspension or banning.

  • No impersonation: Impersonating others or providing false information during registration or account use is prohibited.

6. Prohibition of Security Violations

  • No sharing personal information: Players must not share login credentials, passwords, or any security-related information with others.

  • No account tampering: Unauthorized access to or use of another player’s account is strictly forbidden.

7. Prohibition of Intellectual Property Violations

  • No content copying: Copying, distributing, or using DeChess’s content, source code, or other intellectual property without permission is prohibited.
